DCS - Dead Center Syndrome
When a photograph is being critiqued

it is always something

It could be an Avedon or a Bresson

doesnt matter, someone is going to say something like

what I was told when I showed someone this photo


"haha looks like you have DCS..."

first off he assumed I would know what the means

which I didnt because when I shoot, If I had

everyones opinion in my head I would never get

anything done

If I put him to the left it would have been

"using that rule of thirds huh haha"

so my opinion is that everyone can fuck off

shoot how you want to not how others want you to

Anyways I love the picture, the purple shirt looks nice on him....and yeah I totally agree. You can't listen to others because the world is going to try to change you till you tell the world who you are and what you do is your own. End of story.

yea, I think people tend to take critique too seriously...I would listen with one ear to what others and one ear to listen to yourself
